Diyarbakir and Sanliurfa Exports Increased 29 Percent in July |

Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa that is in the Agency's area of responsibility have achieved significant success in exports in parallel with the increased investment and production.
According to the data released by the export of TSI Diyarbakır's exports by 29%, Şanlıurfa's exports by 28% and TRC2's exports increased by 29% according to the same month of the previous year. When we compare the total exports in January to July 2012 and January-July 2013; Diyarbakir's exports by 16%, Şanlıurfa's exports by 38% and TRC2's exports increased by 24%. Sand, clay and stone quarrying with a share of 46% in exports took first place in Diyarbakır, electric motors, generators, transformers, with a share of 24% in exports took first place in Sanliurfa among the products exported in July 2013. Iraq is the first country in export of the country rankings for Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa. 44% of Diyarbakir's exports and 47% of Şanlıurfa's exports sent to Iraq in July. Other important export country for Diyarbakir is China and Saudi Arabia and for Şanlıurfa is Syria and Romania. |
